Location Information: When you use the Running Mode feature, we collect your GPS location data to:

The following data is stored locally on your device and never leaves your device:

3. Explicit Disclosure and Consent Requirements

Prominent Disclosure: Before accessing your location data, the app will:

Display a clear explanation of why location access is needed
Inform you that location data is used only for tracking your running route and calculating distance
Explain that all location data remains stored locally on your device

Your Consent: You must explicitly grant permission for the app to access your location. You can:

Accept location permissions to use Running Mode features
Deny location permissions (Running Mode will not be available, but timer features will still work)

3.1 In-App Disclosure Process

When you first access Running Mode, the app will:

Show a detailed explanation of location data usage
List the specific purposes: route tracking, distance calculation, map display, and workout recording
Confirm that data stays on your device and is never transmitted externally

4. Permissions Required

The app requests the following permissions:

Location (Fine & Coarse): To track your running route and calculate distance during workouts
Background Location: To continue tracking your route when the app is in the background
Vibration: To provide haptic feedback for timer intervals
Audio/Sound: To play audio cues during workouts
Notifications: To alert you about workout intervals and timer status
Foreground Service: To keep the timer and location tracking running during workouts

Note: All permissions are requested only when needed for specific features. You can deny any permission, though some features may not be available without the required permissions.

5. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively for:

Providing timer and interval tracking functionality
Recording and displaying your running routes on the map
Calculating workout statistics (distance, duration, pace)
Storing your workout history locally on your device
Maintaining your app settings and preferences

6. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage Only: All your personal data, including location information, workout history, and app settings, is stored locally on your device. We do not have servers that collect or store your data.

Your data remains under your control and can be deleted at any time by:

Clearing individual workout records in the app
Uninstalling the application

We do not share, sell, or transmit your personal data to any third parties.

The app does not require:

Account creation
Email address
Phone number
Social media integration
Cloud synchronization

8. Third-Party Services

8.1 Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:

Advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID)

IP address

AdMob does NOT receive any of your workout data, location data, or timer settings. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.

10. International Use

RunRoundTimer is available globally. Since all data is stored locally on your device, your information remains on your device regardless of your location.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
